Use this function to remove a claimed item from the claim file. Once deleted, the claim will NOT appear on ANY Claims Work List. This function can only delete a claimed item. It cannot delete any holdings.

First, the user has to specify the target item. This is accomplished via the generic Find a Serial Item window, with the minor title of "Delete Claim" appear in a message field:

Once the claim is selected, the actual Delete Claim window appears, and the deletion is verified then executed.
