8.3.2 Field 2 Serials Routing Functions Menu:

Purpose: To select a Serial Routing menu function.

Function [Edit a Copy's Routing] allows you to create a routing list of patrons for a specific Serial Copy. A routing note may be added as well.

Function [Display a Copy's Routing Slip] displays or prints the routing slip for a specific journal as a boiler plate.

Function [Display by Patron] displays or prints routing slips for a patron. The patron may also be removed from all routing lists.

Function [Universal Routing Slip Header & Trailer] allows the editing of the Universal Header and the Universal Trailer that will be shown with each Routing List.

Function [Patron Groups] manages a list of patrons who frequently request the same journal for routing. This list can be used by function [Edit a Copy's Routing] rather than that function repetitively entering the same names over and over again.

Function [Daily Routing Print] finds all issues checked in for a specific day and processes their routing. For some libraries, this may be more convenient than processing the routing during Check In.
