2.52 Overview to the Creating Items from a Batch

Once the batch is updated to the catalog, the batch function [Item Creation] can assist the cataloger in rapidly creating the holding items. [Item Creation] has three sub-functions: 
     1. Automatically create one item for each bib;  
     2. Convert the 852 holdings data into items.  
     3. Manually create items for each bib;

These functions are now discussed.
